Siva Vimalachandran
Managing Principal
With over 15 years of experience, Siva Vimalachandran specializes in strategic planning, funding acquisition, and visionary project leadership. As former Executive Director of YUSC at York University, he managed 250,000 sq/ft of space and delivered the $72M New Student Centre on-time and on-budget. Named one of Canada’s emerging leaders in social impact by The Peak (2022), he led the $26.3M Tamil Community Centre, funded by federal and provincial grants, and in 2025 received the King Charles III Coronation Medal for infrastructure leadership. His projects have earned honours including the American Architecture Award (2021), ACUI Facility Design Award (2019), and AZURE Magazine’s “10 Best Canadian Architecture Projects” (2018). At 6 Degrees Consulting, Siva works with public, private, and non-profit partners to transform visionary ideas into lasting community legacies.
